Happy 85th Birthday Edoardo Mulargia

Edoardo Mulargia was born in Torpè, Italy on December 10, 1925. Before his film career he was a journalist. Edoardo began his film career as an assistant director under Pietro Germi and Luciano Emmer with the film “Le due leggi” (1962). He then became enamored with the Spaghetti western genre and would go on to direct 10 films, and was even the cinematographer on one, over a 6 year period. Among them were: “Why Kill Again” (1965) with Anthony Steffen and Gianni Garko, “Cjamango” and “Don’t Wait Django... Shoot! both in 1967 and both starring Sean Tedd (Ivan Rassimov), “El Puro” (1969) with Robert Woods, “Shango” (1970) and “A Man Called Django” (1971) both again with Steffen. On most of these he used the alias Edward G. Muller and sometimes was credited as Tony Moore. The last film he directed was “Orinoco: Prigioniere del sesso” in 1980. He then turned to television where he became a director for RAI. Today we celelbrate Edoardo Mulargia’s 85th birthday.
