Happy 85th Birthday Camilo Milli

Camillo ‘Milli’ Migliori was born on August 1, 1929 in Milan, Lombardy, Italy. Camillo participated as a supporting actor in many films of Italian cinema and theater as a performer, particularly appreciated in the stage works of Goldoni.

In the 1960s and 1970s he was also very active in television, where he appeared in several television dramas .

Despite not having played leading roles, he is one of the most remembered character actors in Italian cinema, especially for sympathy and skill; many remember him in the role of the Cardinal Secretary of State in “Il marchese del Grillo” (1981), the role of presidente Bortolli, the football coach, inL'allenatore nel Pallone” (1984), which starred Lino Banfi , the role of the cruel director Barambani inFantozzi contro tutti” (1980), in “Ho vinto la lotteria di capodanno” (1989) and Dr. Piedimonte in “Rimini Rimini” (1987), three movies with Paolo Villaggio. Another nice part is that in “Casa mia casa mia...” (1988), where he plays the owner of a jewelry store and starred alongside Renato Pozzetto.

Camillo appeared in only one Euro-western “Hallelujah to Vera Cruz” (1973) with Lionel Stander as the Governor of Vera Cruz.

Milli is now retired and living in Genoa, Italy.

Today we celebrate Camillo Milli’s 85th birthday,
